Management qualifications
Every manager is different, but all need core managerial
skills and knowledge.
We can help you
prove your competence against the MSC Management and Leadership national
occupational standards which reflect best practice in Management.
Our Management
Centre is approved by the Chartered Management Institute. We offer individual
programmes for the development of managers in the workplace and contract with
companies rather than private individuals so that we can address the interests
of both. We cater for experienced managers who need to accredit their
competence in the job and new and inexperienced managers who need training and
development to enhance their performance in the job.
We offer the following:
- CMI Level 3 NVQ Certificate in Management
- CMI Level 5 NVQ Diploma in Management
- CMI Level 7 NVQ Diploma in Management
- Management Development programmes (bespoke)
- Taught management courses such as the Level 3 First Line Management qualifications
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services
- Apprenticeships in Management
We deliver training to groups or individuals as appropriate. Our programmes are designed for working managers and complement company training and development provision. We use evidence from the manager’s day-to-day activities and their knowledge to assess competence.
We provide development on the basis of a specific agreement with the client company and may include elements that go beyond the Management and Leadership standards, such as self-development, CPD, assessor training or mentor qualifications.
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services
This Level 5
Diploma is a specialist management qualification for managers of care
services. We have specialist assessors within our team who have a background
in social care and will support you through the qualification.
