Rail NVQs
We deliver rail NVQs in partnership with rail companies. We offer awards in the disciplines and levels described below. Some awards consist of set number of mandatory units whilst other disciplines are built up from a combination of mandatory and optional units. The series is sufficiently flexible to be used for a wide range of infrastructure engineering activities in mainline, metropolitan and heritage railway companies and their supply chains.
The cost of implementing NVQ awards can be largely offset by government funding. FCT meets contractual requirements for securing government funding and has delivered over 10,000 awards in the industry to date.
