Why us
FCT
is an established and award winning training provider with experience of
managing and delivering apprenticeships in a range of sectors.

We achieved outstanding results during an Ofsted (the body which inspects the provision of all government funded training) inspection in February 2008. We were awarded Grade 1 which is the highest possible grade across all areas: Leadership & Management, including equality of opportunity; Quality of Provision; and Overall Effectiveness.

We achieved excellent Adult Learning Inspectorate (the body which inspected the provision of all post-16 government funded training up till 2006) results in March 2005. We were awarded Grade 1 for Leadership & Management, Quality and all the subject areas we provide and Grade 2 for Equality of Opportunity; putting us in the top 1% of work based learning providers in the UK.
- We were awarded Beacon
status for our achievements on the work based learning apprenticeship
programme.
- We have had great
success at the Employers Engineering Federation (EEF) Apprentice of the Year
Awards for the South West England Region over the last few years.
- We have been
successful at the Go Skills Go Excellence Awards over the years.
- We have had success in the LSC Apprenticeship Awards with a client company (as the training provider) in 2007 and 2009.
We can advise you on the best type of apprenticeship for your business sector,
as well as the level at which it should be offered.
Applications for apprenticeship training should go directly to the employing
companies, as FCT has no direct responsibility for recruitment. However, we do
offer advice and support for the recruitment and apprenticeship framework
requirements as outlined by the sector skills councils.
